2 water pumps sent to Ba

Two water pumps have been sent to Ba this morning to help clear places that have been badly affected by the flood.

District office Rakiraki confirmed that a directive was issued by the Permanent Secretary of Provincial Development Col Inia Seruiratu yesterday.

Meanwhile the survey teams have completed their assessment on damages sustained by the floods.

Also the health officials have completed spraying all the areas in Rakiraki that were affected by the flood, to prevent the spread of water bourne diseases.

Water and electricity is now normalised.
