This is according to reports received by government from different district offices which are affected by the devastating floods.

Permanent Secretary for Provincial development and Natural disaster management Colonel Inia Seruiratu said overall the situation has stabilized and flood waters are receding in key areas.

Colonel Seruiratu said power and water supplies are still off in certain areas in the Western Division but supply has been restored in Ba and Rakiraki.
