Historic match as the Drua Women to host the Force at home in first Super Rugby semi final

History will be created today when the Rooster Chicken Fijian Women's side host the Western Force at the HFC Bank Stadium in the first-ever Super Rugby semi final at home.

The Drua, who are the defending champions, will be aiming for a third final and also a third consecutive title after just joining the competition in 2022.

Wing, Iva Sauira believes the inclusion of former captain Bitila Tawake will boost the morale of the girls when they take the field.

She says with the return of Tawake to the team is a great help and their will be a different expectations on the field today.

Sauira says they have learned from their mistakes last week against the Rebels and will improve on the match against the Force.

She also calls on fans to come down in numbers and support the girls as it will also boost their morale.

Grass and embankment tickets for the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua vs Hurricanes and the Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women’s side vs Western Force are still available.

The Drua Men will play the Hurricanes at 7.05pm today and the Drua Women will take on the Western Force at 4.35pm.

Both games will be held at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva today.
