Digicel Fiji has been named the fastest mobile network in Fiji by globally respected speed measurement company, Ookla.
Ookla measured Digicel Fiji's service as having an average speed score of 23.09 with average speeds of 25.60 megabits per second for download.
According to Ookla, this is ranked the fastest compared to any other network provider in the market.
Digicel Fiji CEO Mike Greig says they are assisting Fijians in their daily digital lifestyle where download speed is as important as food and water.
He says the award is validation of what they have been trying to achieve.
Greig says they have been in Fiji for 10 years and have invested a lot of money into their LTE and 4G+ network.
