Naduvalo hits 102nd Career try as Fiji downs Australia 35–14

The Fiji Airways Men's National 7s team scored the fastest try of the tournament during their final pool game when winger Vuiviawa Naduvalo crossed the line for his 102nd career try, helping Fiji defeat Australia 35–14.

Fiji started the match strongly, maintaining possession and putting pressure on the Australian rucks and mauls to regain the ball.

Fiji scored their second try when Terio Veilawa burst through the Australian defence, extending Fiji’s lead to 14–0.

Australia regrouped and scored their first try in the fourth minute, narrowing the score to 14–7.

Naduvalo then grabbed his second try of the match to push Fiji’s lead to 21–7.

In the seventh minute, Australia responded with another try to reduce the deficit to 21–14 at halftime.

In the second half, Douglas Daveta of Malolo scored the opening try to extend Fiji’s advantage to 28–14.

Daveta crossed the whitewash again in the fifth minute of the half, stretching Fiji’s lead further to 35–14.

In the final minute of the game, Talacolo and Veilawa were both shown yellow cards.

Australia had the final opportunity to score but failed to add any more points before the full-time whistle.

Australia gives away possession through a forward pass scrum for Fiji, and Boginosoko gets held up and turns over for Australia.

3rd Minute Fiji steals possession from Australia and capitizes allowing Tamani to score their second try to extend their lead 14-0.

4th minute Australia scores their first try catching the Fiji defece napping to close the points 14-7.

6th minute Vuiviawa Naduvalo scores the 102nd try of his career to extend their lead to 21-7.

7th minute Australia scores another try to narrow the deficit 21-14 at half time.

Fiji kicks off in the second spell and steals the ball allowing Douglas Daveta to score another try and extend their lead 28-14.

5th minute Daveta  scores his second try after numerous phases of play from both sides to extend their lead 35-14.

7th minute Veilawa and Talacolo were both yellow carded but still Australia coul not score in the last play allowing Fiji to win 35-14.
