Raid in Suva leads to arrest of 2 suspects linked to Wailoku attack
Two men are in police custody while the search continues for two others alleged to have been involved in a case of serious assault and damaging property in Wailoku last night.

Police say officers from the Southern Division Quick Response Team, Samabula and Joint Task Force were deployed and acted on information regarding the group’s whereabouts.

A raid was subsequently carried out at a home on Waimanu Road in Suva, where two of the four suspects were arrested.

Police say the victim is currently admitted at the CWM Hospital as the hunt continues for the other two suspects.

They say the circumstances and motive surrounding the attack are under investigation.

Investigations continue.
