Screen grabs from of Oprah Winfrey falling on stage

Oprah Winfrey stumbled on stage, falling to the floor during a motivational speaking event in Los Angeles.

During Saturday's talk as part of her Oprah's 2020 Vision: Your Life on Focus Tour, the 66-year-old tripped and fell while discussing achieving balance in her life.

She rolled on to her back, sat up straight and blamed the "wrong shoes" for the accident.

Winfrey's longtime partner Stedman Graham, who was sitting in the audience, rushed to check on her.

People.com reports Winfrey took off her heels and did the rest of her opening talk barefoot.

Oprah spoke about the fall on her Instagram story afterwards, saying she would have preferred it not to happen, but wasn't embarrassed.
