Winds have started to pickup in Labasa from the last hour as branches of trees have broken.
District Advisory Councilor of Wavuwavu Labasa, Kamal Prasad said that occasional heavy rainfall continues with strong winds.
He added that about 20 people have taken shelter at the Wavuwavu Primary School which has been opened as an evacuation center.
