RKS and Dawasamu Secondary School crowned champions of Tailevu Zone

Ratu Kadavulevu School athletes celebrate their victory

Ratu Kadavulevu School and Dawasamu Secondary School have won the Coca‑Cola Tailevu Athletics Zone.

The boys from Delainakaikai stamped their mark winning 32 gold, 26 silver and 19 bronze.

Queen Victoria School finished second with 17 gold, 20 silver and 23 bronze while Tailevu North College finished third with 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze.

Looking at the girl's division, Dawasamu Secondary School won with  14 gold, 9 silver and 11 bronze.

In second place was Wainibuka Secondary School with 13 gold, 7 silver and 7 bronze while defending champions Tailevu North College finished third with 9 gold, 12 silver and 6 bronze.

 

Timoci Bolakoro of Queen Victoria School won the Senior Boys 100 metres event at the Tailevu Athletics Zone.

The recorded manual time for Bolakoro in the 100 metres final was 11.35 seconds. 

Aravela Korolaubu of Wainibuka Secondary School won the Senior Girls 100 metres.
