Essential upgrade works are currently underway at the CWM Hospital as part of the Potable Water and Maternity Sewer Line Project.

The Ministry of Health says the upgrades are being carried out in stages within an active hospital environment, with measures in place to minimise disruption to patient care and daily operations.

Patients and visitors are being advised to expect temporary changes around the hospital.

These include designated construction zones, increased noise and dust, as well as minor adjustments to access routes near active work areas.

The Ministry says that where disruptions cannot be avoided, advance notice will be provided and alternative arrangements will be made in coordination with hospital management.

The Ministry is urging people visiting the hospital to follow all on-site notices and directions issued by hospital staff while the works continue.
