Police Blue are the champions of the 39th Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s, defeating Yaro Chiefs 25-7 in the final this afternoon at King Charles Park in Nadi.

Police Blue dominated the first half, scoring three tries to lead 15-0 at halftime.

Indiscipline also cost Yaro Chiefs as two of their players were shown a yellow card, and then former Fiji 7s rep Eminoni Nasilasila was shown a red card, reducing their side to six before halftime.

Yaro Chiefs did not give up as they came out firing in the second half, scoring their first try under the sticks.

Police capitalised on the one-man advantage, scoring another two tries to seal their win 25-7.

Meanwhile, the Ezers Women's 7s side claimed the women's title, defeating Lilian Amazons 22-21, while Aloha Taveuni are the U21 champions after beating Serevi Select 10-5.
