With Tropical Cyclone Vaianu moving away from Fiji, some bus services have resumed operations with limited services.

They include Shore Buses Limited, Nasese Bus Limited, Raiwaqa Bus Limited, Central Transport, and Tacirua Bus Limited in the Central Division.

Speaking to fijivillage News, Fiji Bus Operators Association President Nisar Ali highlighted that they are grateful to the operators for heeding their call to suspend services today.

He says with the system moving away from Fiji, bus operators will decide whether they want to operate this afternoon.

He adds that they are awaiting an advisory from the Ministry of Education on whether schools will resume tomorrow.
