The Minister for Rural and Maritime Development and Disaster Management Mosese Bulitavu was in the western division today, assessing the impacts of yesterday’s floods on affected communities and critical infrastructure.
Bulitavu visited the Vunikavikaloa Crossing in Nalawa, Nailawa Irish Crossing in Saivou, Korotale Crossing in Naroko, Katudrau Crossing in Rakiraki; and Qalau Flats.
Bulitavu will also visit some affected communities in the province of Ba later this evening as part of Government’s ongoing response and assessment efforts.
