Women entrepreneurs from around the country are currently participating in a 3 day workshop to strengthen their capacity to utilize ICT tools

Women entrepreneurs from around the country are currently participating in a 3 day workshop to strengthen their capacity to utilize ICT tools in support of their businesses.

18 vendors from the Suva Flea Market are part of the workshop today.

Assistant Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Veena Bhatnagar says government recognizes that women entrepreneurs are critical to economic growth, peace and prosperity.

Bhatnagar says the platform will increase the understanding of the business environment that women entrepreneurs operate in.

She says the training will also equip participants with the knowledge and resources to offer this training to more women entrepreneurs in the future.

More women entrepreneurs will be part of the training over the next 3 days.
