We just need to keep believing in ourselves and keep working hard for better results.

Those were the words of Swire Shipping Fijian Drua prop Mesake Doge following their 31-14 loss to the Crusaders in Round 8 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific.

Doge says they are disappointed by the result, but they just need to take in the learning and do better in the next game.

He says they could not capitalise on opportunities and turn possession into points.

Doge says they need to come out firing from the start in every game, and they need to keep pushing when they feel that they are running out of energy.

Saturday’s encounter between the Drua and the Crusaders started off with a moment of silence before kick off to remember VITIFM’s iconic personality, Maikeli Radua, who was laid to rest at his village in Waikete, Tailevu.

The Drua will now turn their focus on their next match against the Highlanders at 7.05pm Saturday in Dunedin.

Meanwhile, in other matches in round 8, the Chiefs defeated the Reds 27-15, Moana Pasifika beat Waratahs 45-28, the Blues edged the Hurricanes 19-18 and the Western Force overcame the Highlanders 29-20.
