Suva has confirmed its place in the semi finals of the Skipper Cup competition after beating Macuata 41-28 in their round 6 clash at Albert Park earlier today.
Suva had the services of current and former national 7s and 15s reps in the like of Terio Tamani, Enele Malele, John Stewart, Tira Wilagi, James Brown and Livai Ikanikoda which proved too strong for Macuata who struggled to keep up with the fast-paced game structure that the capital city side provided.
Suva led Macuata 22-13 at halftime.
In the under-20s, Suva thrashed Macuata 41-11.
In other Skipper cup matches today, Nadi beat Namosi 31-23, Naitasiri edged Tailevu 22-21 and Nadroga beat Yasawa 45-27.
