Swire Shipping Fijian Drua outside back Isikeli Rabitu

Swire Shipping Fijian Drua outside back Isikeli Rabitu has been voted the fijivillage Fan Player of the Match against the Highlanders after putting on a terrific performance when he came on in the first half of the match over the weekend.

Rabitu had to replace Caleb Muntz in the 28th minute after Muntz suffered an injury.

The 20-year-old got to work as soon as he came on and even scored an impressive try at the start of the second half.

Rabitu ran a total of 65 metres in 8 carries, making 1 line break and beating 5 defenders.

Meanwhile, the Drua still has a slight chance of making it into the top 6 with 6 matches remaining and it is crucial for them to win their remaining games and also hope that other results will go in their favour.

The Drua currently sits in 11th place with 7 points.

They will take on the Waratahs at 2.05pm Saturday at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

In other matches this week, the Crusaders will host the Blues at 7.05pm Friday, Moana Pasifika will take on the Brumbies at 4.35pm Saturday, the Chiefs will play the Highlanders at 7.05pm Saturday, and the Western Force will take on the Hurricanes at 9.35pm Saturday.
