Pool draws for 3rd leg of Fiji Rugby Super 7s Series

Police Blue is in Pool A alongside Ratu Filise, Wardens and a 15th wildcard team in the third leg of the Fiji Rugby Super 7s Series at Ganilau Park in Savusavu on the 19th and 20th of next month.

Pool B includes Police White, Eastern Saints, Uluinakau and the Stallions.

Raiwasa Taveuni is in Pool C with Tabadamu, Army and a 16th wildcard team.

Pool D is made up of the LAR Barbarians, Nawaka, Wadigi Salvo and Fire.

The two wildcard teams for the next leg are expected to be from the Northern Division.

They will replace Bukuya and Dominion Brothers who have been replaced after finishing as the bottom-placed teams in the second leg.

Police Blue won the second leg of the Fiji Rugby Super 7s Series at Prince Charles Park after beating Police White 26-7 in the final.

It is the second tournament win in the series for Police Blue.

They also won the first tournament at Lawaqa Park.

Police Blue was clinical in the two-day tournament at Prince Charles Park.

It was the current and former national 7s reps in the team that stood out, especially Rusiate Nasove.

Players like Keponi Paul, Terio Tamani, Waisea Nacuqu, Samisoni Viriviri and Kitione Taliga also helped guide the team.

Police Blue now extend their lead on the Super 7s Series points table.

They lead with 44 points while Raiwasa Taveuni is second with 36 points.

LAR Barbarians are third with 32 points.
