The Naivilaca Village Women’s Group in Rewa received a set of kitchen items from the Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection, Sashi Kiran, that will provide the women’s club with an income-generating project.

The Minister took some time off from her busy schedule to visit her kinsmen in her work of empowering women and strengthening communities.

Kiran advised the women on hiring the items during village events, offering a sustainable way for the women to earn and support their members.

She was also briefed on the village’s Development Plans and held insightful discussions on a potential eco-tourism initiative that could create further opportunities for the community.

Kiran says empowering women is not just good policy — it's the foundation of resilient, thriving communities.
