Nadroga has been crowned the Skipper Cup Men's U20s champion after defeating Naitasiri 43-36 in the final at Ratu Cakobau Park this afternoon.

It was a tit-for-tat match as both teams scored points one after the other, but Nadroga managed to claim the win in the end.

Both teams scored three tries and two conversions each but Naitasiri managed to take a slight 22-19 lead at the break after halfback Etuate Lomavatu converted a successful penalty kick at the stroke of halftime.

Nadroga started the second half strongly with a try to number 8 Joeli Ratusala, who scored his second try of the match, to give his side a 24-22 lead before Seremaia Romodrau of Naitasiri replied with an converted try through to reclaim a 29-24 lead for his side.

Nadroga scored two more converted tries through Semesa Volavola and Anasa Tutu to claim a 38-29 lead.

Luke Jijiwa got Naitasiri back in the game with a try to close the gap to 38-36 before Nadroga put the final nail in the coffin with a try to centre Vanausa Limavatu for the win.
