Nadi captain Sivaniolo Lumelume scored the match winning try as Nadi won the Skipper Cup title by beating Naitasiri 16-14 in an exciting match at Prince Charles Park.

Olympic gold medalist and Fijian Drua player Kitione Taliga was also instrumental for Nadi as he scored a try in the first half.

Nadi was leading 8-6 at half-time.

Naitasiri returned in the second half with more determination as they took the lead and were leading 14-11 until the dying moments of the game.
