Kerevi aims to win a medal with Australia in the Commonwealth Games

Wallabies centre Samu Kerevi wants to win a medal for Australia in the Commonwealth Games next weekend.

Kerevi makes his return to the seven-a-side game after his stint at the Olympics, joined by Waratahs flyer Mark Nawaqanitawase.

Kerevi says the sevens program holds a special place in his heart.

Meanwhile, the Queen Elizabeth II will be missing the opening ceremony with her son Prince Charles to officiate the iconic event.

The Commonwealth Games will officially open at 6am Friday.

The Fiji men’s team will play Zambia at 12.02am Saturday.

Their second match is against Canada at 8.32am Saturday before they face Wales at 12.02am on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Fijiana 7s team will face Scotland at 8.22pm Friday, they will meet South Africa in their second match at 4.30am Saturday before they face Australia at 8.22pm.

The quarter finals will start at 7:26am Sunday, the semifinals will be at 12:12am Monday while the Commonwealth Games 7s Gold Medal match will be at 8.26am on Monday.
