Ikanikoda to boost Suva’s campaign in the Skipper Cup final

Former Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s rep Livai Ikanikoda will bolster Suva’s campaign in tomorrow’s Skipper Cup Senior Men’s final clash against Nadroga after being named to start at flyhalf.

The 34-year-old played a crucial role for the defending champions last week as they beat Nadi in their semi final clash at the same venue.

He will be looking to continue from where he left off from last week and help his side defend the title this year.

Coach Solomoni Nute has named a strong squad for this final with veteran number 8 Mosese Naiova leading the side again for one last time this year.

Suva starting XV:

John Muller, Joeli Nainoca, Inoke Ravuiwasa, Ratu Meli Nabura, Koli Tamanitoakula, Isoa Tuwai, Saimoni Seruvatu, Mosese Noova (c), Peniasi Ravudolo, Livai Ikanikoda, Paul Dolokoto, Watisoni Sevutia, Iosefo Namoce, Lepani Kurumudu, Inia Tawalo.

Impacts:

Sireli Narawa, Sireli Fa, Isikeli Lumelume, Talatala Tokaibai, Mateo Rabaka, Jonathan Sovasova, Taniela Naqali, Samu Kakaivalu.

Suva will take on Nadroga at 3pm tomorrow at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.

In other finals tomorrow, Suva under 20 will take on Nadi under 20 at 9am in the ANZ Marama under 20s, Suva will play Namosi at 11am in the ANZ Marama Senior finals and Naitasiri under 20 will play Nadroga under 20 in the Skipper Cup Men’s under 20s.
