If a teacher is absent because of leave, then it is a valid reason to be absent.
This was highlighted by Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro as he says all teachers are entitled to all kinds of leave as they are civil servants and they are entitled to leave like annual leave, sick leave, and bereavement leave.
He says if absenteeism is due to something else apart from leave, then time is needed to analyze the figures.
