At this year’s McDonald’s Fiji Coral Coast 7s tournament, entry will be free of charge for spectators.

This was confirmed to Fijivillage News by the Tournament Director, Jay Whyte after the pools was announced.

Whyte says this was possible through the high number of sponsorships they received this year and he is thankful to all the sponsors for the support in making this tournament bigger and better every year.

This year’s tournament will see 44 teams participating including 7 international teams.

There will be 16 teams in the men’s I-wau event, 16 teams in the Outrigger Youth Division and 12 teams in the Shangri-La’s Women’s Na-iri competition.

This year’s 13th and 14th inductees’ plagues will be unveiled next Wednesday into the Rugby Town Walk of Fame.

This year’s inductees will be Kenyan 7’s Rugby Legend Collins Injera and former Fijian dual international, Noa Nadruku.

The Coral Coast Sevens will be from next Thursday to Saturday.
