Our goal this year is to dominate other teams and defend our title again.

Those were the words of Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women’s rep Asinate Serevi as the team prepares for a new season of Super W championship which kicks off next month.

Serevi says despite having a few changes to the team and the inclusion of new players, it does not change their goal which is to win.

She says they are looking forward to this season as they know all teams will be coming for them and they are excited for it.

When asked if she will be ready if appointed to captain the team this year after the departure of former captain Bitila Tawake, Serevi says if the coaches trust her for that role, then she is ready for it.

The Fijian Drua Women’s side will start their Super W title defence campaign against the Reds on the 17th of March in Queensland.

Meanwhile, the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will take on the ACT Brumbies in their Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific pre-season match at 7 tonight in Canberra.
