The voices of the younger generation is critical in the 2022 general elections, as 350,930 people registered to vote are between the age of 18 to 40 years.

Based on the importance of this, a special fijivillage Straight Talk with Vijay Narayan will take place with youth candidates of political parties at 7pm tonight.

Invitations were sent to the concerned parties from early November and we have continued to follow up to get the confirmations.

Fiji Labour Party youth candidate Milika Nasilivata, National Federation Party candidate Apenisa Vatuniveivuke, People’s Alliance youth candidate Bulou Gavidi, SODELPA’s Koroi Tikoilomaloma, Unity Fiji’s Peni Matanisiga and We Unite Fiji youth candidate, Nitish Sharma have confirmed their participation, and will appear on Straight Talk at 7pm tonight.

We are still awaiting a confirmation from FijiFirst General Secretary, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum on the participation of a FijiFirst youth candidate.

You can watch tonight's Straight Talk on our Facebook page and YouTube channel, fijivillage.

You can call with your questions to 3314766 or 7730766 or email your questions to straighttalk@fijivillage.com
