To all of you who sell drugs, those who use drugs, those who enable drug use, and those who do business in drugs, this message is for you. We are coming for you. When your time comes, you will face the anger and wrath of this nation.
The strong arm of justice will find you and deal with your actions.
That is the message of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Land Force Commander, Brigadier General Onisivoro Covunisaqa during their 2nd Quarter Parade to honour the unwavering dedication of the Land Forces and to reaffirm focus on the upcoming Field Training Exercise, Exercise Bougainville 2026 in August.

Brigadier General Covunisaqa also warned that there is no place in the uniform for divided loyalties.
He stresses that betrayal of the nation or collusion with criminals will be exposed and met with swift, decisive action.
He reminded the soldiers of the dark chapters the force has confronted before he directed his warning at the criminal organisations.
Brigadier General Covunisaqa also spoke about the members of the public, recognising their sacrifice and naming them the very reason the force exists.
He vows that this is not a transient campaign but an enduring, constitutional and moral commitment to dismantle narcotics networks, to secure homes, schools and streets, and to guarantee a future free from fear for every Fijian child and household.
The Land Force Commander also
declared that the RFMF stands at a decisive crossroad in the fight against narcotics and organised crime, and two stark choices lie before the nation.
He says this is to remain passive while criminal networks ravage our communities, or to rise and fight for the survival, dignity and future of Fiji and its people.
Brigadier General Covunisaqa reaffirms his full support of the Commander’s directive to choose the latter, to defend the nation while steadfastly upholding the Constitution and the laws of Fiji.
He also made it unequivocally clear that the leadership of the Land Forces will stand with every soldier, unconditionally and without hesitation.
He acknowledged the trials ahead but pledged collective protection for soldiers and their families, insisting on service marked by discipline, integrity and readiness.
He stressed that training, particularly Exercise Bougainville, is the crucible that will sharpen operational capability and sustain their preparedness.
