Education, as the cornerstone of societal progress and individual empowerment, will provide a path towards a brighter, more equitable future for our communities and nations.

This was highlighted by the Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro while officiating at the 2023 Fiji Education Policy Framework named “The Denarau Declaration” and the Ministry of Education Strategic Plan for 2023-2026 that was held at Tanoa Plaza in Suva today.

Radrodro says as they unveil this comprehensive Denarau Declaration and Strategic Plan for 2023-2026, the Ministry has reaffirmed their commitment to fostering innovation, embracing change, and championing excellence in education to meet the demands of our ever-evolving world.

He says today’s launch heralds a new chapter in the evolution of our educational landscape and this marks a pivotal moment in our collective journey towards building a robust, adaptable, and inclusive education system that is geared towards nurturing resilient Fijian learners equipped for the challenges of the 21st century.

Radrodro emphasised that this strategic plan is not just a document but it is a commitment to the future of our nation and a promise to our children and to all Fijians that education is our priority.

He says the Ministry’s vision for the next three years is clear as they aim to transform education in Fiji, ensuring it is accessible, inclusive, and of the highest quality.

He adds they are embarking on a journey that is focused on the holistic development of our students, empowering them to become responsible citizens and contributing to the social and economic progress of our nation.

Radrodro says the crafting of this strategic plan, there were consultations with various MOE stakeholders, including teachers, parents, students, and community leaders during the pre-summit consultations conducted.

He says their invaluable input has shaped the initiatives and goals outlined in this plan.

He further says the Ministry is committed to a collaborative approach, working together with all Fijians to achieve educational objectives.
