Duatani Store's Creative Director and owner Hosanna Kabakoro.

Following a successful debut at Fiji Fashion Week 2020, Duatani Store has opened a Suva outlet on Victoria Parade and Creative Director and store owner Hosanna Kabakoro says they realised there was potential in their store to support the business growth of many other Small and Medium Enterprises.

The Duatani Store is the flagship outlet of AYI Manufacturing, a Nadi based garment manufacturer which since its inception aims to provide stylish clothing that is affordable.

While speaking during the launch, Kabakoro says the last two years have been tough on everyone, but especially for those of them that are small businesses.

Kabakoro says they are proud to host more than 30 Small and Medium Enterprise vendors that will be retailing their beautiful products in store, giving their customers a collective of local craftspeople and artisans to support.

She says they were blessed to have really understanding landlords because they had just signed the lease when the second wave of COVID-19 hit Fiji.

Kabakoro adds she believes that the traditional way of doing in-store shopping will be back as people have been in lockdown for long.
