A win against the Melbourne Rebels Women this weekend will confirm a home semi final for the Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women side this year and a first-ever Super Rugby knockout game to be held in Fiji.

After their 20-7 win over the Brumbies Women last week, the Drua Women now have 13 points in the overall Women’s points table, 7 points behind current leaders, the Waratahs Women who have 20 points and are 4 points ahead of third-placed Western Force and Brumbies who are locked at 9 points.

So Far, the Drua Women have won 3 out of the 4 games they have played this season and they are determined to secure a win this weekend.

Coach Mosese Rauluni says though he was happy with how the girls performed last weekend, they will still need to lift their game to another level this weekend.

He says they are building towards this weekend’s match-up against the Rebels and hopefully for the finals as well.

The Drua Women will take on the Rebels at 7.05pm this Saturday in Melbourne.

In other Super Rugby Women’s matches this weekend, the Waratahs will play the Reds at 7.05pm Friday and the Brumbies Women will take on the Western Force at 4.35pm Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Men will be on a bye this week and will play the Hurricanes at 7.05pm next Friday at the HFC Bank Stadium, Suva.
