Whippy remanded for alleged trespassing at Govt Building
Justin Whippy, who is charged with one count of trespassing at the Government Building, has been remanded in custody.

He appeared before Magistrate Shageeth Somaratne this afternoon.

On 18th March, Whippy was apprehended by police officers at the New Wing of the Government Building.

It is alleged that he entered through the main entrance and was stopped by officers stationed on the ground floor after exhibiting suspicious behaviour.

The matter has been adjourned to the 16th of this month for a psychiatric evaluation.
