Vehicles travelling through Sigatoka Town are being advised to expect temporary disruptions as the Fiji Roads Authority carries out scheduled road maintenance works in the Central Business District.
According to the FRA, the work will continue to Monday, from 7.00pm to 6.00am.
The maintenance will affect several key junctions, including Duabale Road and Market Road, Duabale Road and Mission Road, Mission Road and Valley Road, Valley Road and Duabale Road, and Market Road and Valley Road.
During these hours, the affected road sections will operate under a stop-and-go traffic system, with temporary traffic management measures in place to control the flow of vehicles.
The FRA is urging all drivers to exercise caution when travelling through the area, adhere to posted speed limits, and follow all traffic signs and directions from road personnel.
