Hundreds of students at Ballantine Memorial School in Delainavesi now have access to improved learning facilities after the official opening of a new $660,463.27 double storey building by the Ministry of Education.
The project was completed over 16 weeks and includes eight classrooms, two staff rooms, a modern wash facility, new roofing, reinforced tie beams, safe bridge access, and upgraded electrical and plumbing systems.
While speaking during the school’s Family Fun and Soli Day today, Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro said the new facility reflects the Coalition Government’s commitment to investing in students’ education and overall growth.
Radrodro reminded students to always strive for excellence, support one another, and never forget that their school, families, and teachers are there to help them succeed.
He also urged teachers to remain dedicated to shaping the minds and hearts of students and acknowledged the government's role in providing resources, training, and recognition to support their efforts.
Radrodro says BMS has long been a place where young women are nurtured to learn, grow, and aspire to greatness.
