Ba leads the vaccination rate of 1st doses of AstraZeneca and it now stands at 97.9%

Ba district is still leading the vaccination rate of the first dose of AstraZenaca vaccine at 97.9% while their second dose stands at 7% of the Ba population.

Head of the Vaccination Taskforce, Doctor Rachel Devi says the people in Ba have really come out in numbers over the past few weeks.

Doctor Devi says their target is over 80% of the total eligible population to achieve herd immunity.

The Rewa division is at 84.3% for first dose and 8% for second dose.

Suva’s vaccination rate is 59.4% for first dose and 11.4% for second dose while Nasinu is on 65.9% for first dose and 9.2% for the second dose.
