Rev Turagavou encourages children to grow in faith, love and hope

Rev Turagavou encourages children to grow in faith, love and hope

The President of the Methodist Church in Fiji, Reverend Dr. Semisi Turagavou is encouraging children to grow in faith, love, and hope as they take part in Palm Sunday celebrations today.

He says they are the future of our Church and the living testimony of God’s love

He says also that this year’s theme, “Jesus is the Hope of Life,” reminds us that in every season, whether in moments of joy or times of uncertainty, our hope is found in Christ alone.

Reverend Turagavou says today, we remember Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem, welcomed with joy, praise, and hope.

He adds that just as the crowds waved palm branches in celebration, may the children’s hearts be filled with the same spirit of praise and trust in the One who brings light into our lives.

Rev Turagavou says whether people are celebrating Palm Sunday here in Fiji or abroad, they should know they are united as one family in Christ.

He says may this Palm Sunday inspire you to walk closely with Jesus, to share His love with others, and to carry His hope into the world.
