NY 7s: Black Ferns 7s beat Fijiana 31-10

The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s side lost to the New Zealand 31-10 in their second pool match at the HSBC SVNS New York 7s this morning.

The Black Ferns proved too strong for Fiji as they ran in five tries to Fiji’s two.

Jorja Miller and Risi Pouri-Lan scored doubles, while Stacey Waka scored once.

Fijiana tries came from Reapi Uluinasau.

Meanwhile, the Fijiana 7s side won their first pool match, beating France 22-17.

They will face Great Britain at 9.20am in their last pool match.

The Cup semi-finals will begin at 5.12am tomorrow, while the Cup final is scheduled for 9.14am.
