New Labasa business creates jobs and meets rising demand

The recent opening of Ashiana’s Elegant Wear and Northern Technology Services in Labasa Town has brought a boost to the local economy by creating employment opportunities for several individuals in the area.

Ashiya Ashiana, the owner of this new venture says that the establishment of the store has generated seven new jobs for the community, providing much-needed employment in Labasa.

She also says that setting up the store required an investment of approximately $30,000.

Ashiana business offers a range of high-quality jewellery and clothing, catering to customers who seek elegance and style.

It also provides essential technological solutions, specialising in CCTV camera installations, security alarm systems, and networking services, thus addressing the growing need for security and connectivity in the town.

Ashiya explains that she opened the store in response to the increasing demand from the people of Labasa for both fashionable products and reliable technology services.

She also expressed her ambition to expand her business further and hopes to open additional outlets in Taveuni and Nausori within the next few months, aiming to reach more customers and contribute to economic growth in other parts of Fiji.
