All businesses in Nadi in full operation

All businesses in Nadi are in full operation.

District Officer Peni Koro said they have completed the cleaning up of the town.

According to the National Fire Authority in Nadi, the water and electricity has been restored in the town but for some other areas, water and power is yet to be restored.

The areas in Nadi which have been severely affected by floods are areas near the Nadi town and Nadi river.

Meanwhile, the Water Authority of Fiji say areas from Ba to Nadi is without water supply due to the treatment of water systems after the recent floods.

The Authority said engineers are trying to treat the water treatment plants in Lautoka and Nadi.

There is no definite time frame.
