10 survey teams in Rakiraki are hoping that roads are cleared before they do their assessments in the province of Ra tomorrow.
Provincial Administrator Sitiveni Tavaga said the Savusavu Bridge in Nalawa is still underwater and rural roads are yet to be cleared.
He said cleaning up is currently underway especially in the market area.
Health inspectors are inspecting shops to make sure that damaged frozen food is not sold to the consumers.
Meanwhile 86 families are still in the 12 evacuation centres and they have been advised to visit their homes and assess damage.
