Ireland A thrashes Flying Fijians

A clinical Ireland A has grounded the Flying Fijians with a 53-0 thrashing this morning.

Ireland A scored four tries in the first half to lead 29-0 at the break while Fiji's performance in the first half mirrored the second, as they showed lack of commitment, lack of interest and lack of aggression riddled with handling errors.

In the second half Ireland A scored early while Fiji's attempt to get in the game faced yellow card obstacles with Timoci Matanavou being sin binned in 46th minute for a tip tackle and Tuapati Taleimaitoga for a late tackle on man of the match Craig Gilroy in the 66th minute.

Irish back-rower Chris Henry was sin binned in the 64th minute but that did not stop their momentum by scoring two more tries in his absence.

Ireland scored their eighth try in the 79th minute as Fiji continued to play a disinteresting game.

Ireland A 53 - Flying Fijians 0.

Fiji's last match in the Europe tour is against Georgia.

Meanwhile, in other international test matches, France kept its impressive form beating Argentina 39-22, Australia defeated England 20-14, the All Blacks defeated Italy 42-10 while South Africa beat Scotland 21-10.
