FRCA confiscates alleged university certificates
A total of 41 certificates alleged to have been issued by one of the country’s universities were confiscated by the Fiji Revenue Customs Authority officials.

FRCA said the package containing the certificates was detained as customs officials were suspicious of the authenticity of the certificates and officials of the university concerned verified that the certificates were counterfeit.

FRCA said investigations revealed that the certificates were printed in a foreign country and were being sent to a local address.

It stated that the certificates were for English language courses.

According to the courier company which was said to deliver the package, all charges had been prepaid.
