Charges laid against Savusavu woman

Charges have been laid against the woman who allegedly hit a 61-year-old Savusavu woman with an iron rod inside her home over the weekend.

CID director Vakacegu Toduadua said she was charged yesterday and later appeared in court.

The victim received serious injuries and is still admitted at the Savusavu Hospital.
