Drivers in the southern division be careful of your behavior on the roads as “Operation Blitz” has now shifted to south.
It commenced yesterday with the same focus on taking drivers continually disregarding road rules to task.
Over a period of 2 weeks of the operation in the west more than 2,700 bookings were made for traffic infringements out of which speeding was noted as the highest offence.
Director Traffic SSP Mahesh Mishra said there will be a lot of movement over the weekend and the lead up to Diwali and drivers who act recklessly will be held accountable.
