Poor road conditions force villagers to walk
The poor road conditions to Mau village in Namosi has force more than 100 workers and students to walk from their home to the main road at Nabukavesi.

The bus service has stopped since yesterday and village headman Ananaiasa Ratumainaceva said people walk for 4 miles to catch the bus on the main road and leave home at 5 in the morning.

Divisional Engineer Roads Central/Eastern Temo Vosaki confirmed the poor road condition in Mau is due to the continuous rain in the past few weeks and said the upgrading works are expected to start once the rain stops.
