Three teams have secured their places in the final play-offs of the Dayal’s Sawmillers National Club Championship, with Ray United FC, Friends United FC and Combine Verata FC advancing after dominant pool-stage performances.

Lautoka’s Ray United FC became the first side to confirm their spot after a hard-earned 3–1 win over Nadroga’s Downtown FC.

The Blues finished their group campaign unbeaten with two wins and a draw.

They opened with a 1–1 result against Nadi’s Army Delta FC before edging Ba’s 4R FC 3–2 in their second match.

Nasinu’s Friends United FC also sealed their place from Group A following a commanding 7–1 victory over Lami Rangers FC and a crucial draw against Suva’s Pacific Specialist Healthcare Combine Brothers FC.

Both sides finished pool play on four points, but Friends United topped the group on goal difference.

Combine Brothers FC still have a lifeline as they will face Tailevu Naitasiri’s Police FC tomorrow to determine the third Southern Zone qualifier.

Rewa’s Combine Verata FC completed the trio of confirmed qualifiers after a 6–0 win over Navua’s League FC this morning.

Featuring several district reps including Gabriele Matanisiga, Ivan Kumar, Iowane Matanisiga, Neemish Prasad, Epeli Valevou, Mosese Nabose and Samuela Navasa, they topped their pool with two dominant results.

They began their campaign with a strong 5–0 win over Police FC on Friday, signalling their intent early in the tournament.

More updates from the Dayal’s Sawmillers National Club Championship will follow as remaining teams battle for the final play-off spots.
