A Flash Flood Warning remains in force for Viti Levu while a Flash Flood Alert remains for Vanua Levu.

The Nadi Weather Office says a Flood Warning remains in force for all low-lying and flood-prone areas adjacent to and downstream of Nakauvadra River in Rakiraki Town, Yaqara River, Tavua River, floodplains of Ba River and Nadi.

They say a Flood Alert for areas adjacent to and downstream of Tuva River also remains in force.

A Heavy Rain Warning also remains in force for Fiji.

People can expect occasional rain, heavy at times, with a few thunderstorms over most places.

They say the weather conditions for Fiji is expected to gradually improve from tomorrow as the active trough of low pressure slowly drifts southwards away from Fiji.

The Weather Office expects stable weather conditions by Thursday.

They add that while conditions are improving, some areas may still experience occasional showers during the transition period.

People are urged to remain vigilant and follow the warnings as localised heavy rain may lead to flash flooding in low-lying and flood-prone areas.
