Navy Women off to winning start at Marist 7s defeating Lilian Amazon 19-5

Fresh’et Navy Women’s rugby 7s side kicked off their 50th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s campaign on a high note, defeating Lilian Amazon 19-5 this morning.

Navy are the defending women’s champions after beating Seahawks 19-15.

In other results, Ezers Women’s Club drew 19-all against Dartmouth, Loloma Heights beat Striders Women 14-7, Marist edged Flametree Colo-i-Suva 7-0, Police thumped Seahawks 22-0, and Sinukakala won by default against Tagimoucia Ranadi.

The matches for the Under-21 category is underway at the HFC Bank Stadium.
