Grammar sprinters dominate as Suva Zone 2

Suva Grammar School sprinters are delivering standout performances in the 100 metres finals at the Coca-Cola Suva Zone 2 competition.

Ezekiel Tabualevu has claimed the sub-junior boys 100 metres title, while Jolame Suguturaga and Hepzibah Tuimanono secured gold medals in the intermediate boys’ and girls’ 100 metres finals, respectively.

Saint Joseph’s Secondary School’s Mereoni Matanitobua took out gold in the sub-junior girls 100 metres final.

Marist Brothers High School’s Kirikiti Biu also impressed, winning the junior boys 100 metres event.

Marist Brothers High School and Suva Grammar School are currently leading the boys and girls medal tallies for the Coca-Cola Zone 2 at the HFC Bank Stadium.

In the girls division, Grammar has 3 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze, Ratu Latianara has 2 gold and 2 bronze, while St Joseph's Secondary School has 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze.

Marist has 3 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze, Grammar is second with 1 gold and 2 silver, while Ratu Latianara College has 1 gold and one silver.
