The Fiji Football Association confirms it will conduct a comprehensive review of the Extra Premier League match between Rewa and Labasa.
Fiji FA says its Referees Committee will assess the performance of match officials as well as the conduct of both teams, in line with established regulations and the Laws of the Game.
The Association says appropriate action will be taken if any breaches are identified following the review.
Fiji FA is also condemning abusive and threatening comments directed at match officials, particularly on social media.
It stresses that such behaviour is unacceptable and undermines the integrity of the game.
The Association adds that any cases involving abusive language or threats of violence will be referred to the relevant authorities.
Fiji FA is urging all stakeholders to uphold the integrity of football and allow due process to take its course without interference.
